AU SAA Plug to IEC C13 Power Cord

This AU SAA Plug to IEC C13 power cord is a standard grounded AC power cable for the Australian and New Zealand markets. It connects devices with an IEC C14 inlet to AS/NZS 3112 wall sockets, power strips, PDUs and UPS units commonly used in Australia, New Zealand and other regions using Australian plug standards. It is widely used in home offices, commercial offices, data centers, server rooms, laboratories and AV installations for powering desktop PCs, LCD monitors, printers, network switches, routers, rack-mounted servers and test instruments.

The cable features a 3-core grounded design with live, neutral and protective earth conductors, providing safe power delivery and equipment grounding. The Australian SAA plug has flat angled pins and a round protective earth pin, ensuring reliable connection to standard Australian sockets. The plug design is polarized and includes a grounding contact, helping to reduce the risk of electric shock and providing stable power delivery for sensitive electronic equipment.

Conductors are made of high-purity stranded copper for low resistance and stable power transmission. The standard 3G 0.75mm² version is suitable for most desktop computers, monitors, printers and peripherals up to 10A at 250V. The 3G 1.0mm² version supports higher current capacity up to 15A at 250V and is recommended for workstations, servers, rack-mounted equipment and devices with higher power consumption. Both versions are designed for continuous operation in commercial office and light industrial environments.

Both ends are fully molded with integrated strain relief structures, which reduce bending stress at the cable root and help prevent internal conductor breakage caused by frequent plugging, movement and cable management. The IEC C13 female connector fits securely into standard C14 device inlets with firm retention force, avoiding accidental disconnection during equipment operation. The outer jacket is made of flame-retardant PVC material with good abrasion resistance, flexibility and long-term durability.

This power cord is SAA approved according to Australian safety requirements and complies with relevant Australian and international standards for low-voltage electrical products. It is also RoHS compliant, restricting the use of hazardous materials such as lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, PBB and PBDE.
