NEMA 5-15P to IEC C13 US Power Cord

This NEMA 5-15P to IEC C13 power cord is the standard grounded AC power cable for North American electrical environments. It connects devices equipped with an IEC C14 inlet to standard NEMA 5-15R wall outlets, PDU sockets or UPS power outputs. It is universally used in home offices, office workstations, data centers, server racks, laboratories and AV installations, powering desktop computers, LCD monitors, laser printers, network switches, routers, rack-mounted servers, test instruments and other C14-equipped electronics.

The cable features a 3-conductor construction with live, neutral and ground wires, providing full grounding protection for user safety and equipment shielding. Conductors are made of high-purity stranded bare copper for excellent conductivity and stable power delivery, minimizing voltage drop even over longer cable runs. The standard 18AWG wire gauge supports up to 10A at 125V, sufficient for most desktop and peripheral devices. Heavy-duty 16AWG and 14AWG versions are also available for higher-current devices such as workstations, servers and industrial equipment.

Both connector ends are fully molded with integrated strain relief structures, which distribute bending stress at the cable root and prevent conductor breakage caused by frequent plugging, movement and cable bending. The NEMA 5-15P plug follows North American safety standards with polarized blades and a round grounding pin, ensuring correct insertion orientation and reliable grounding contact. The IEC C13 female connector fits securely into standard C14 device inlets with a firm retention force, avoiding accidental disconnection.

The outer jacket is made of flame-retardant PVC material rated VW-1, with a temperature rating up to 105°C, suitable for continuous operation in office, data center and light industrial environments. The cable is UL Listed and CSA approved, complying with UL62, UL817 and IEC 60320 safety standards, and fully RoHS compliant for environmental safety. Color options include standard black as well as red, blue, green and white for circuit identification and cable management in data centers and server rooms.

Standard lengths include 3ft, 6ft, 10ft and 15ft to suit different desk layouts, rack installations and distance requirements. Right-angle C13 versions are available for tight spaces behind wall-mounted monitors, rack-mounted equipment and desktop PCs pushed against walls.
