EU Schuko Plug to IEC C13 Power Cord

This EU Schuko Plug to IEC C13 power cord is a standard grounded AC power cable for European electrical environments. It connects devices with an IEC C14 inlet to Schuko wall sockets, power strips, PDUs and UPS units commonly used across Germany, France, Spain, the Netherlands and other European markets. It is widely used in home offices, commercial offices, data centers, server rooms, laboratories and AV installations for powering desktop PCs, LCD monitors, printers, network switches, routers, rack-mounted servers and test instruments.

The cable uses a 3-core grounded design with live, neutral and protective earth conductors, providing safe power delivery and equipment grounding. The Schuko plug features side contact clips and a rounded pin configuration that ensures reliable connection to Schuko sockets. The protective earth contact is engaged before the live and neutral pins, helping to reduce the risk of electric shock during plug insertion and removal. This makes it suitable for everyday office equipment and sensitive electronic devices.

Conductors are made of high-purity stranded copper for low resistance and stable power transmission. The standard 3G 0.75mm² version is rated up to 10A at 250V, suitable for most desktop computers, monitors, printers and peripherals. The 3G 1.0mm² version supports up to 16A at 250V and is recommended for workstations, servers, rack-mounted equipment and higher-power devices that require greater current capacity. Both versions are designed to meet continuous operation requirements in commercial and industrial office environments.

Both ends are fully molded with integrated strain relief structures, which reduce bending stress at the cable root and help prevent internal conductor breakage caused by frequent plugging, movement and cable management. The IEC C13 female connector fits securely into standard C14 device inlets with firm retention force, avoiding accidental disconnection during equipment operation. The outer jacket is made of flame-retardant PVC material with good abrasion resistance, flexibility and long-term durability.

This power cord is CE certified according to European safety requirements and complies with relevant EU standards for low-voltage electrical products. It is also RoHS compliant, restricting the use of hazardous materials such as lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, PBB and PBDE.
